Description

Welcome to Eagle Eye Networks, the highest rated cloud based video recording service worldwide. Here are a few tips to get you started!


Creating a Layout

A layout is a specified group of cameras that are viewed simultaneously in a grid.


  1. Select Layout.

  2. Click All.

  1. Select New Layout.

  1. Adjust the display settings to your preference.

  2. Click Add Cameras.

  3. Select each camera you want on the layout.

  1. Click Save Changes.




Editing a Layout


  1. Select Layout.

  2. Choose the layout you want to edit.

  3. Click the Layout Name.

  4. Select Edit from the drop-down.

  • You can freely move the cameras, adjust the sizes, or remove cameras from the layout.

  1. Click Save Changes.


Setting and Enabling Notifications


  1. Click Your Name.

  2. Select My Profile.

  3. Click Notifications.

  1. Select the type of Alerts you want to receive.

  • System All are alerts for offline devices.

  • High and Low are labels for Motion Regions.

  1. Select the method of delivery for notifications.

  • “When” specifies the time frame you want to receive the notifications.

  • Push Notifications are for the mobile app; Eagle Eye Viewer.

  • Email Notifications send notifications to the email on the account.

  1. Click Save Changes.


Set up Motion Regions by utilizing the Masking Out Motion Regions guide. If Motion Regions are not set up, no notifications will be generated other than System Notifications.


Creating Users


      1. Select Users.


      2. Click the Yellow Plus.

  • Alternatively click Add User.

      3. Fill out the fields.

  • The Permissions tab gives the user access to the system based on the parameters set here. (For more detailed information on Permissions refer to the linked document.)

  • The Cameras tab is for limiting access to specific cameras.

  • The Layouts tab is for limiting access to specific layouts.

      4. Click Save.


Creating Clips and Downloading Footage

You can create clips of footage and either download them to your computer or store them in the cloud.


      1. Select Dashboard.

      2. Click the History icon next to a camera to pull up its historical footage.





      3. Use the slider to locate the video you want to save.

      4. Click Save.

  • Input the desired Start and End time.

    • If you want to save it for temporary use click Download.

    • If you want to save it to the cloud click Archive.

The clip will appear in the corresponding section of the dashboard.

Once the footage is saved it will be available for view and download to your computer.
