This guide describes how to add Camera Direct cameras to the Eagle Eye Cloud VMS.
With Eagle Eye VMS Camera Direct, you can easily integrate your cameras with the Eagle Eye Cloud VMS without the need for a Bridge or CMVR. Connect your camera to the internet and add it to the Eagle Eye Cloud VMS using its MAC address. Once added, your cameras are immediately ready for viewing within the Cloud VMS.

Adding a Camera Direct Camera via Classic
In order to set up your Eagle Eye Camera Direct, you need the following:
- An Eagle Eye Cloud VMS account.
- A camera model that is supported by Camera Direct.
- Note: Make sure the camera is in factory default settings, and runs the latest firmware for its model.
- The MAC address of the Camera Direct camera.
- Log in to your Eagle Eye Networks Cloud VMS account.
- Select Dashboard tab.
- Click the "+ Add Device" button and select Add Camera Direct from the drop-down.
- Fill out the fields.
- The Camera Name is based on your specifications.

Navigate to the "Direct to Cloud cameras" and you will see your camera online (please allow up to 10 minutes when adding a new Direct to Cloud camera as it needs time to process before coming online).
Ensure your local network is not blocking NTP for Camera Direct Cameras. This will cause the cameras to drop on and offline intermittently.
The camera will take a couple minutes to connect to the Cloud.
Using the Live View and History Browser with Camera Direct cameras in the Eagle Eye Cloud VMS works the same way as it does with any other camera. If you need assistance refer to our knowledge base article here.
