Utilizing Eagle Eye Cameras on Third Party Systems

Eagle Eye cameras are ONVIF compliant, as such they are capable of being utilized with many different systems. We highly recommend utilizing an Eagle Eye Bridge with our cameras for best performance and security, but if you would like to utilize another NVR you have the option to do so.

Unfortunately Eagle Eye will be unable troubleshoot the cameras if they are not connected to an Eagle Eye Bridge/CMVR as they will be inaccessible to us remotely.

  1. It is recommended to configure the NVR to utilize the RTSP streams, but ONVIF is an option as well.
  2. Eagle Eye cameras are dynamic (DHCP) by default, they must be connected to a DHCP server to be assigned an IP address. Once they have IPs you can login and configure them statically if needed.

If you do not have the login credentials you can perform a factory reset with the reset button (location varies depending on the model) and the default login afterwards will be “admin” for username and password.
