How to Set Up Notifications


Setting up Notifications so you are properly notified when motion is detected is simple with the Eagle Eye Cloud VMS.


First go into My Profile by clicking your name in the top right of the Dashboard.


From this menu check the box next to the Notifications/ Alerts you wish to receive.

  • System All is in relation to offline devices; this option will notify you if a device reports offline for an extended period of time

  • High Alerts are Motion Events you label as such

  • Low Alerts are Motion Events you label as such

  • Email Notifications is the method of delivery for the notification

  • Push Notifications is the method of delivering for the notifications

    • This refers to Mobile Notifications


To receive Alerts you will need to set up Motion Zones and classify the Alert type for the zone as either High or Low. For more information on creating Motion Zones refer to the linked document.
