Version 1.0

Description

This camera brand does not require many settings changes to work with the Eagle Eye Networks bridge. There are a few caveats in regards to how the cameras can be connected however. This document will cover these and the few settings adjustments needed.

For Your Information

  1. Quadviews need a lot of power and need POE injectors. Most times they ship with a POE injector which needs to be utilized to ensure stability.
  2. A daisy chain topology causes cameras to drop frames.
  3. Cameras should not be attached to another device or the Wisenet Sky platform, or integration with the Eagle Eye system may experience issues.
  4. When integrating cameras from existing systems, they need to be factory reset. This is in relation to ONVIF tokens, which is what we use for streaming.
  5. It’s not recommended to use any internal analytics for the camera. Eagle Eye offers many of the same analytics free of charge through the VMS.

Setup

Log in to your Wisenet camera and select the Setup icon at the top.

This will take you to the Video Profile menu by default. There should be a profile named Sky here. Sky allows the camera to integrate with Eagle Eye Networks more smoothly.

If Sky is not available, please ensure the camera is connected to the Eagle Eye bridge and up-to-date, then contact Eagle Eye Networks to ensure your Bridge is updated.
