Version 2.0
When setting up a new router, you will get a new global IP.
First, ensure you are connected to the same network as the cameras. To find your new global IP, go to an IP lookup website. (Ping EU or What Is My IP)
Now that you know your new Global IP, you can reconfigure your setup.
Log in to CameraManager.
open the Networks tab of the camera(s).
Press the "Shift" key on your keyboard and double click on the "Camera IP Address and Port" line.
Change the "IP Address" to the new Global IP.
Change the IP Address, not the Local IP Address.
Sometimes you will need to change the local IP Address as well, however it is unnecessary most of the time.
You will need the MAC addresses of the cameras. This information can be found in the CameraManager application under Camera Info as well as a sticker on the device.
To change the Local IP address of the cameras…
Open the Command Prompt on your Desktop.
Type ipconfig. Make note of this IP.
Type ping IP (where “IP” is the IP from the previous step).
If it is pingable, move on to the next steps.
Type arp -a.
Using the MAC addresses, notate the IP address for each camera.
Update the IP addresses in the Networks section of the Cameramanager Dashboard.
In some cases the camera isn’t connected to the same network as the device you are using. Ensure the camera is on the same network.
