This Application Note is intended for installers and technicians who install Axis cameras and want to use the Eagle Eye Camera Direct solution on-site for the Eagle Eye Cloud VMS.

Using Eagle Eye Camera Direct, you can add your supported Axis cameras to the Eagle Eye Cloud VMS without needing a Bridge or CMVR. Install the ACAP (Axis Camera Application Platform) as shown below in the document, then connect your camera to a network with internet access, link it to the VMS using its MAC address, and it will be ready to stream. With Camera Direct for Axis cameras, you can stream, record video, get alerts, and search AI events using the Smart video search.
