Version 1.4
Returning an Eagle Eye Anywhere Cabinet system to Eagle Eye Networks requires removal of certain components as per shipping regulations. This document will instruct you how to safely disassemble the product and dispose of hazardous materials properly.
The battery must be removed before return shipment.1. Disconnect the Solar Panel(s) from the cabinet system. Eagle Eye Networks does not require the panel back for replacement. Dispose of it according to the same EPA guidelines used for the battery.

Depending on the configuration, the battery removal process varies. Follow the guidelines based on your system’s design and its corresponding Configuration.
Configuration A
First disconnect the battery from the controller by unclasping the orange connectors from one another. This configuration requires a Phillips-head screwdriver to remove the screws for the bracket on the right-side. Once removed, angle the battery up and slide out at an angle.
Configuration B
Follow these guidelines from the US Environmental Protection Agency to ensure safe handling and disposal of the battery.
